Small weird crash - 4.1.0

Hi!

So i had a small crash and a wierd one.

Was flying a auto mission and everything was smooth and then in the landing, the drone simply wont stop descending (auto → loiter → althold → wont stop) until in crash in the ground and flipped.

Can anyone take a look at the logs?

Thank you.

@Joao_Marques ,
i think the crash is not “weird”:
You take off setting the throttle (RC3) to 1900. Then you change to auto mode a you reduced the throttle to 1150 and you keep that until the “end”. In AltHold that leads to a strong decline, which you observed.
Why didn’t you raise the throttle ?

Yea, that’s what I see.

Leave the throttle at mid stick during a Mission. If you happen to panic and switch out of Auto for some reason at least it won’t plunge to the ground if you happen to select Stabilize. Yours was a more controlled crash in Loiter and AltHold…

I could bet that i did try to raise the throttle and that it was at ‘mid stick’ during the flight (as always).

what the hell, this is wierd. Gonna see if the radio sticks are working properly.

thank you both for the quick replys.

Ok, so the radio is ok everything working.

I open another flight (December) and the graph is way different (like it should be - max 1900 - mid stick 1550 - stopped 1150).

I didnt changed anything at all, so what happen between the two flights?

Could it be interference? I was flying 1m from a cement road (with alot of rebar).

That won’t effect anything.

This is strange. It shows the throttle channel dropping while it’s still in Loiter before you switched to Auto yet the altitude is still increasing.

So wierd, can it be a fault radio receiver?

Is it possible to see in real time the RCIN3 (throttle) in mission planner?

Sure with telemetry. The Status screen and the Tuning graph will show it. Both seen here:
