Small quad with all motors tilted 12 degrees forward?

Hi,

I wonder whether I can use Arducopter for a small quad with all motors tilted 12 degrees forward?

I thought that would just be managed by the flight controller itself so that the rotors will level and the flight controller will be tilted by 12 degrees.

But after a crash on first take off I’m somehow less convinced of my ideas.

Any hints? Can I use landing gears if different height to compensate the tilt before the start and during IMU calibration?
