Sluggish Throttle didnt rescue low speed event

Hi all.

Been trying to tune the throttle less aggressive during normal auto flight, knowing full well it could cause an issue close to stall. Well it happened. Fortunately being a VTOL Q_ASSIST kicked in but looking at the logs I’m surprised the throttle didnt really try.

This was the first flight with a new course prop, but I don’t think that was the problem as the throttle demand was late and not enough.

Any tuning advise appreciated.

  1. The airspeed (blue) is dropping quite fast below the set speed (orange, 16ms)
  2. The throttle sits at idle despite the falling airspeed.
  3. The throttle increases but not much and even drops a bit.
  4. Finally the throttle comes alive but stops at 45% which is my trim throttle setting
  5. I rescue it with a thumb full of throttle.

It’s proving quite tricky to fund the balance between smooth throttle and low speed protection.
