We are experiencing a serious range limitation with the Skydroid H12 Pro. The link consistently drops at 100–150 meters, triggering a Radio Failsafe. Also, the strength keeps fluctuating even at 1 meter, from 100% to 20%.
Anyone else facing the same?
I couldnt see what I was looking for in the manual, but is there a setting somewhere for the Country ?
Some transmitters have a default that barely works, and the correct power level and frequencies are not used until a Country is selected.
Thanks for reverting back, but I don’t see any such direct option, under android time zone setting, I have selected my country as India (GMT +5.30)

There is no solution, that radio can emit only 16 dbm ±1.5 and that is only 25-50mw of output power, which is way too less. I don’t know how @SKYDROID is claiming 30km at such low output power.
I would guess, FCC mode (US radio regulations seem to be more lax compared to EU). Though 150m is way less than I would expect even in CE mode.
With my ELRS gear telemetry at 10mW I get at least 2km telemetry at ground level with TX (receives telemetry) near a WiFi hotspot.
Have you checked the baud rate of transmission between the transmitter and reciever?
Try changing the baud rate and testing

me too, meet the same issue, i have changed 3 units all brand new rc h12pro and r12 pro receiver, and tried update the firmware to the latest, but result is signal is weak, when i go away about 40m even at open area, its start connect and disconnect.
hopefully manufacturer can solve it as soon as possible, if not, my 3 units h12pro now are useless.
