We have identified streaming issues arising from the update of QGC from version v4.4.3 to v5.0.8. We are currently investigating the matter. Which SIYI gimbal camera model are you using? You may attempt switching to the H.264 encoding format, or contact technical support via the SIYI official website for assistance.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. UniGCS is designed for parameter configuration within UniRC 7 and typically does not require background operation.
May we ask which software you were using when encountering this issue?
You may contact SIYI Technology’s technical support for feedback.

With Mission Planner. page 92/153 user manual.
Hello, yes… finally made it work after some workaround.
Long story short — after a failed FPV firmware update (I’d done several successful ones before), the air unit started behaving strangely.

The fix for me was switching the frequency band from 2.4G & 5.8G to 2.4G only.
After that, the latest FPV firmware uploaded correctly to the air unit, and everything updated properly.
The R1M camera and H.264 stream
Is this when connecting the data link? It is indeed necessary to adjust the appropriate data link mode via UniGCS, but running UniGCS and Mission Planner simultaneously can cause data link streams to compete for bandwidth. You will need to close UniGCS to ensure stable operation of Mission Planner.
We have optimised the firmware upgrade process in v1.2.4. Subsequent upgrades will now proceed very smoothly.
For assistance with the R1M, please visit the SIYI official website and contact SIYI technical support.

Yes, I did. It is still slow; occasionally, the parameters sync stops.

A question for Siyi representative here:
Is there any option to get an SBUS output from Unirc7 pro to use an external RC transmitter? And can I connect the external digital VRX (not Siyi made)?
The same question goes to upcoming UniRC10 pro (since there is no sepatate unirc10 thread so far)
I see that it has sbus output so the first part of my question is probably answered. How about the video from external VRX?
I have a pair of V31’s on my drone and don’t want to dump them so far because they have more power and more suitable frequencies for my needs.
Firstly, the UniRC 7 series remote controllers themselves do not feature S.Bus input or output interfaces. The sole S.Bus output interface is located on the Air Unit.
Secondly, the UniRC 10 Pro, UniRC 7, and UniRC 7 Pro require the use of matching Air Units. They do not support connection to third-party receivers, nor are they interchangeable with one another.
Thanks for clarification. But I see the SBus output on Unirc10. Can it be used with external sbus compatible transmitter (elrs or other)? Can I get controls by external transmitter/reciever and video with osd through the Siyi Air unit?
It has been verified that the interfaces on the UniRC 10 Pro only support S.Bus output and PPM output. Other functions are not currently available.
We output the standard S.Bus protocol. Whether it can be compatible with other brands depends on whether they support receiving signals according to the standard S.Bus protocol.
