Setting up ESC connected to H743 using Ardupilot

Hello All, total noob here, please help me setup my ESCs using Ardupilot (is it the right way to do it at all? ). I can connect to the FC in the mission planner no problem, it seems.

I have H743 v3, i want to use it to setup ESC for a KV90, 42 pole motor.
At first i want to make some tests with the motor being controlled by external PWM source, but to have the motor work properly and not loose synchronisation (this happens at 300RPM with propelers connected, otherwise the motor spinsup to 2450RPMs no problem) i need the ESC to be setup properly. Can i do this using Ardupilot? It seems that my H743 doesnt connect to other simpler tools such as am32.ca or betaflight.

Many thanks for any help!!

ive gotten a bit further using the following howto to enable all the stuff regarding the passthrought. Ill see later today or tomorow if everything works.

Hi Hansi, I’m running an H743 myself, the Kakute H743-wing v2. Which FC are you using? I’m having issues with the same thing, have you made any further progress? Which platform are you running everything on? I’m using a Hee wing T1 VTOL. For whatever reason I keep running into issues with the com port being in use by other apps. It seems like the settings for comms between the fc and the esc’s lie within ardupilot but I haven’t figured it out yet.

I figured it out if you still need a hand.
