I am trying to set up my Blheli_S Escs so that the motors do not abruptly stop when the motor test ends. Is there any configuration or setting that I can set up, that will help me with this? I am trying to do this because I am worried that when landing after a flight, the motors might abruptly stop and cause the props to fly off.
First, make sure that you have the latest version of BLHeli_S Suite installed. This will help you get access to all the latest features and optimizations. Secondly, before you start configuring the ESCs, you need to connect them correctly to the flight controller. Make sure that each ESC is connected to the correct port and that they are properly configured in your flight controller software. Next, open the BLHeli_S Suite and select your ESC. Select either “PWM” or “OneShot” mode, depending on which mode your flight controller uses. Next, configure your motor parameters, such as maximum current, minimum speed and other parameters. Depending on your motor configuration, the parameters may be different. Finally, check that all settings are correct and save them. After that, you can test the operation of the ESC by running a small test flight.
The short answer is NO
The longer answer is you already have that set correctly : Brake on Stop = Off
If the props come off, they were not tight enough and could almost as easily come off in flight because multicopter motors are constantly being commanded to change speed up and down
