SERVO7_FUNCTION=1 on disabled channel

I am trying to enable servo 7 on my matek v3 board and I keep getting this message.
SERVO7_FUNCTION=1 on disabled channel
My rc 7 is set to 0, Servo 7 is set to 1.
I want it to passthru.
What am I doing wrong?

Hm,

RC not found

Are your other RC channels working?

RC 7 option = 0 > No Function

Which RC system TX and RX you are using?

rc 7 needs to be 0 if using passthru. at least thats what the docs say. I may be mistaken though.

yes all other rc channels work

Try to set your Servo 7 output function to one of the working RC channels
For example SERVO7_FUNCTION = 51 to pass through of RC channel 1

That didn’t take the error away or work.

@dkemxr do you have any ideas?

RC not found says it all.

I was just showing the error, even with my rc connected i get the same error.

Are you using a 7 channel (or more) system?

So show that. Messages Screen in Mission Planner after connecting. Before all those error messages.
Or post the parameter file to show your misconfiguration.

I put a low voltage battery on so I could calibrate the RC in case that was the issue, thats why it has the battery below min arming
@dkemxr

Believe I found my issue.

Nope. You are only using timer groups 1 and 2 for DSHOT. But you still haven’t answered the questions asked of you above.

Are you saying the param file? It’s in the first post and the screen shot is there also.

Oh I didn’t see you question sorry.

Yes I am using an 8+ channel RC system.

Show a screenshot of the RC calibration screen while you have the RC transmitter bound.

And again, answer @Juergen-Fahlbusch 's question about which specific system it is.

I am using radiomaster gx12, expressLRS

I think I see the issue - you are using SERVO9 for NeoPixel, which is on the same timer group. So you were on the right track regarding timer groups, just not quite a complete picture.

Put the LEDs on SERVO13, and you’ll be able to use the rest of the pins as desired.
