SERVO_DSHOT_RATE - is "loop-rate" ever OK?

I’m studying the parameters involved in Bi-Direction Dshot.

The notes on the parameter SERVO_DSHOT_RATE say that it should never be set below 400hz.

My cube orange is defaulting to a loop rate of 400. So setting SERVO_DSHOT_RATE to “loop rate” would be too slow.

Is this because some flight controllers operate above 500HZ? I think the fastest I see advertised is 480hz.

The default value is “0” which is 1Khz - which is 2.5 times my loop rate. Is there any reason I should choose something else?

No - good to go!
If the ESCs were slow to respond leading to tuning issues, then DSHOT update rate might be something to look at.
