Save Trim and AutoTrim with a 6 channel TX

Is ist possible to do Save Trim and AutoTrim with a 6 channel TX ?
copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/autotrim/ points out, that I have to use channel 7 … but i only have a Graupner mx-12 / gr-12 HOTT which has only 6 channels.

No.
Except MAYBE if you plug your RX out 6 into input 7 of the APM, but otherwise - no.

That did the trick. Switched CH6 to input 7 on APM using a 6CH tx/rx.
