RTL Challenge in Narrow Valley and Limited Rally Point Setup - Seeking Advices

Hi everyone,

I’m currently flying a VTOL in a narrow valley with dense wiring and it’s quite challenging to find a suitable location to set up a rally point. In the event of a signal loss, the standard RTL (Return to Launch) function directly from the current position to the home position is proving to be very difficult.

Given these constraints, I’m wondering if there’s a way to configure the RTL function to follow the previously flown path back to the home position? This would greatly simplify the return process and improve safety in such a complex environment.

Thanks in advance!

I don’t think there’s a way to just fly the mission back, but there is the DO_LAND_START command in a mission. It might help, or at least give you an option.

Thank you for the suggestion.
