I’m an intermediate user of Ardupilot on my pod and boom heli’s and a few 600 and under sized heli’s with great success. I’ve migrated from the Flywing H1 to various AP compatible F405s and H743s. I’m now interested in trying to fit the larger 800 sized Roban scale helis with an AP FC as the H1 is just not capable of dealing with the demands of the increased mechanical gain of the mechanics keeping the heli stabil even when using ATTI or 3D mode. I’m looking for some folks suggestions, gotchas, etc as I attempt this. Thanks in advance everyone!
