RFDesign RFD900 with Spektrum

I have searched and can’t seem to find an answer. I have a spektrum dx8 with a bunch of satelite receivers. I am looking to do something much more economical than the herelink. I want to buy the rfd900 and use my current dx8 with it. The reason why I created this topic was I say one post saying that PPM with spektrum output weird values.
Anyone have experience with this?
I can’t pair multiple herelink airunits with one remote and since the price is going up and they seem to be back ordered, and at over $1500 a pop thats a bit much for me.

I am looking for telemetry and eventually video, the herelink does everything that I need but they are out of my price range.

I was looking at the SIYI unirc 7 pro because the all in price for the transmitter and air unit is $915usd, and a second air unit is only $170 and you can bind 5 air units to 1 transmitter.

What are all the seasoned pilots using for this type of setup?

My Spektrum gear has a lot of dust on it, so take this with a grain of salt.

Spektrum PWM ranges aren’t the same as we’ve got used to with EdgeTX/CRSF/ELRS configurations. You’ll probably have to adjust your end points but it could work. If the satellite will send a PPM signal out, you should be able to route the through the RFD900X/UX radio. It might take some messing around to get the configuration correct. Hopefully you have the 5v satellites, not the 3.3v units (those are a pain).

For the money … RM Boxer or Pocket with and an ELRS rx. I loved my DX9, but there’s a reason it’s not doing much any more.

Thanks for your reply. I believe I will just go with a new setup all together.
