Replacements for a receiver and unknow flight controller

I bought a carbon fiber RC sailboat from a member of my club but have since lost contact with him so I can’t find out some information. It has a FrSky X4R receiver and a unknown flight controller, one of the things I need to know. The FC communicates to the X4R via the S-port. I only get telemetry info from the FC as the winch and rudder servos are connected to the X4R. Currently I just use heading, RSSI and receiver battery voltage from the FC. The transmitter is a Taranis qx7 and has a couple of lua scripts for some autonomous control. One of the problems is because he had placed the receiver below the deck I lose signal because the carbon fiber is blocking it, when it’s about 75 feet away.

I wanted to keep the FC and replace the receiver with an ELRS one but they don’t support S-port. So I decide to just change both and I’m looking for recommendations as to which receiver and FC to use.

Here’s some pictures of the flight controller I have if anyone recognizes it.

Thanks
John

Any supported F405 will do, just give it a good hydrophobic treatment after soldering.
You also can extend the leads to the current receiver and put it higher.

Thanks for the info, I looked into it a little and the SpeedeeBee F405 Wing Mini looks like it will do what I need and the smaller package will help with placement.
