Remote ID + BDshot + CubeOrange

I’ve got a remote ID module from mRo ordered and on it’s way. My understanding from the docs is that I’ll need to build my firmware with the --enable-opendroneid option.

  1. Is it as simple as using the CubeOrange-bdshot configuration with --enable-opendroneid?

  2. The docs say this is for bench testing. Is there anything else to make it for actual use?

  3. Having never built the firmware before, will I need to backup my parameters (eg PID) before uploading?
