Record and re-fly a path or route?

Is it possible to record a path or route (including GPS altitude) as the copter is manually flown, then load and re-fly it automatically?

I’m thinking of programming then repeating a camera shot over multiple days / weeks / months.

I realise it could be done with lots of waypoints in mission planner and AUTO mode, but hoped there may be an easier method?

You can try the Save Waypoint function. Assign it to a switch with an RCx_OPTION and as you fly manually every time you activate the switch the location and altitude will be saved as a Waypoint. I have used this feature for Rover but it’s in Copter.
