As I was approaching the autotune stage of the methodic configurator I had an ESC failure and my quad crashed and broke an arm.
Couldn’t get a new arm so gone for a new frame which is a v6 deadcat rather than v5 and has front arms slightly more swept back.
I also went from an iflight blitz ESC to a TMotor F55a pro with AM32 rather than blheli after comments on a previous post.
two questions - do I need to work through the configurator again from the start or can I skip certain sections. If so which?
secondly I started the configurator last time in simple mode without really looking at normal mode and a load of parameters got dragged in from the first page template that are wrong (missed as I was in simple mode). Can I just switch to normal mode and edit the values in the first page for frame, ESC etc without affecting further down stream configuration pages/parameters in any meaningful way - or would I need to start again.
I know there will be a few changes I need to make in terms of telemetry etc and I’ll need to check motor directions.
newbie so learning lots but don’t really want to go through it all again if I can help it
