RealFlight Link Controller Device has been removed. The original controller device is restored

Hi all,

I’m trying to get RealFlight Evolution to work with Mission Planner SITL. I used to use RF9 with great success. Now I’m trying out Evolution.
I’ve done all the normal required setup per the tutorial. I have connected my RadioMaster TX16S to RealFlight and set up the sticks and swithches in the settings menu. I am not using the Mission Planner joystick function.
When I start SITL with FlightAxis in Mission Planner, RealFlight keeps switching back and forth between Mission Planner control and my native TX16S.
Has anyone experienced this? @timtuxworth I saw you made a post a while ago using Evolution, though with sim_vehicle.py. Did you ever experience anything like this?

Hi Patrick,

I haven’t see this particular problem, but in my experience almost any RealFlight/SITL connectivity issues usually boil down to networking.

@tridge it looks like it’s a problem with the Griffin Realflight model. At least in combination with my computer. It doesn’t happen with any other aircraft. I’ve tried the Alti Transition, Quadcopter X and Skywalker X8 and they all work just fine, but not the Griffin. I tried with Mission Planner and vehcile_sim.py in WSL2, same result

I tried it on a different computer and have the same issue, RealFlight Evolution, Windows 10 and 11, latest Griffin model from GitHub - ArduPilot/SITL_Models: Models of aircraft for SITL, launched from Mission Planner and from sim_vehcile.py
