RCIN and FrSky Telemetry using one UART

Hi,
Is it possible to get RCIN and send FrSky telemetry using same UART port? Why use both if they are in different directions?

No, but this is what FPort does I believe

Another problem is the baud rate. I forgot I need two baud rates, one for each direction.

No, you need only F.Port.

What FC do you use?

I have to use PPM (not SBUS) with older FrSky D series receivers so F.Port is not a case.
I am uncertain which board it will ultimately be, as the first one I received had a broken barometer. Today, I should receive another one. H7 for sure.

I will go with two UARTs.

Then you should get your system up to scratch … What sense does PPM make with a new H7 FC?

Let me think … New board for old copter maybe?

I can’t help you there …

I just wonder what sense PPM still makes today if you also want to have telemetry. If then with a current protocol like F.Port or something else like ELRS with CRSF protocol. Using the old stuff forever may appeal to some users, but it’s not really my thing.
