Radio in custom FC

Hello all

I am trying to make this custom fc with stm32f405

I am using usart2 for RCIN

My plan is to send ibus packets artificially through bluepill while i test(I don’t have a compatible receiver yet). I am sending this packet

0x20, 0x40, then 14 channels of just 1500us (0xDC, 0x05), then checksum 0x97, 0xAD
at 7ms interval

{ 0x20, 0x40, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05,0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0xDC, 0x05, 0x97, 0xAD }

but the board just refuses to even recognize a single packet
I have set usart2 (serial1) to 115200 baud, RCIN, 0
and RC_protocol param to All

I have checked common ground, connection and all that, i could read the packets cleanly via USB to TTL.

But none has worked so far

Any idea on what’s going wrong or what I might be missing?; Kindly help ToT

Did you also set your Serial1_PROTOCOL = 23 (RCinput)?

yes, RCIN wasn’t the problem

It just turned out that I messed up the checksum calculation and randomly assigned a pin as external interrupt which froze the program in bluepill(ibus generator here)

It is working fine now. I’ll probably do the maiden flight next week, my first one
Thank you
