Graupner/JR do PPM Sum out Failsafe that they don´t send any further signal if FailSafe occours. But neither the APM 2.X nor the Pixhawk understand this. They endless hold the last signal. Is there a chance to get this work with PPM firmware 3.0.X and with Pixhawk?
I noticed also that the Pixhawk with a graupner system in sum/ppm mode keeps the last signal received when the connection with the remote is lost even when I set up the “pos” failsafe that is supposed to give a defined position for each channel.
BUT sometimes I see that the pixhawk (or the graupner receiver) puts all the channels to zero and sometimes only the 8th channel goes to 100%
Yesterday I lost connection with my multicopter and it flew away because of this, I had a lot of luck and found my copter crashed in a field 1km away but now I want to resolve this failsafe problem and I don’t even know if the problem is on Graupner side or APM side…
