Radio Failsafe - Disarmed

Hey @rmackay9 @Yuri_Rage @dkemxr .I was flying the drone to test its range. In the first flight it goes 4 km, and then the RC failsafe is triggered to RTL, and it comes back after that. The same for the second flight, but in the third flight it goes to 3 km, and then RTL is triggered as per the logs, but it isn’t able to come back as the radio failsafe is triggered to disarming. Why did it happen as it needs to be RTL, not radio failsafe disarming? Also, the disarming/arming button was assigned to channel 9. It was also low, which means channel 9 triggered to disarm, but we are very, very sure we didn’t press the button.

We have taken more than 9-10 flights, but it has never happened like this.

attached is the log for your reference of that flight.

Hi @Dtown,

Sorry to hear about the crash, from a look at the logs the disarm came from the auxiliary switch and it looks like RC9 is setup to ArmDisarm with AirMode.

If we look at the individual RC input messages we can see that they did recover and RC9 was pulled low. We can see that RC7’s input value also changed. If the transmitter’s RC9 switch was not actually pulled low then this indicates an issue with the TX/RX’s failsafe mechanism. Could you test how the individual channels change when the transmitter is turned off and then back on again?
