Quadplane support

Hello, is there support for this type of QuadPlane.?
Is there someone who can help me get it off the ground?

From the wiki:

ArduPilot supports a very wide range of tilt-rotor configurations. Common configurations include:

tilt-quadplanes with the front two motors tilting

tilt-quadplanes with all four motors tilting

There’s more but you get the idea.

Q_ENABLE,1
Q_FRAME_CLASS,1 # Quad
Q_FRAME_TYPE,1 # X, but maybe 3 for H is better ... Not sure.
Q_TILT_MASK,15 #All four motors tillting.

I didn’t realise it was a tilt-quadplane with four motors tilting.?
I will go up that path and see where it takes me.

I am not sure i can use tilt_quadplane with four motors tilting as I’m not using control surfaces or solenoids. My quadplane doesn’t seem to fit the The Tilt Type. Do i understand that correctly?

I’ll just jump in here as I was trying to help Colin off-line but got to the end of my VTOL knowledge.

Nothing tilts, the motors are fixed in that tilt position. I thought perhaps a Tailsitter configuration might work but whether those wing surfaces would provide enough lift in forward flight is unknown. Or, I might just be wrong suggesting a Tailsitter.

Note:like the dual wing 4 motor craft shown in the VTOL Tailsitter Wiki video.

Sorry, looking at the picture I figured the motors moved. My bad.

In that case it would be a non-vectored tail sitter. Either quad, or NYT Quad X. The thing I don’t know is how it will handle those motor angles. I don’t have any experience there.

My thought, if the motors were vertical, is it would be something like this:

But, this appears to have Elevons and it has plenty of wing surface for lift for fwd flight. So, perhaps it’s not like this configuration.

With it setup as a non-vectored tailsitter, Quad H. When i try to take off, it tends to want to travel forward until the front legs dig in and it tilts foward. If i elevate the front legs 100mm, it flips on its back. I thought there was a setting to prevent that but can’t find it now.
With the Quad-plane sitting on the bench, the motors are tilted at 45dege, I see the HUD is reading minus 90degs, this could explain why it is flipping on its back. Is there a setting i can change so the HUD reads minus45degs?

BTW how is the flight controller mounted on tailsitter?

I should mention that i first set it up in Quad Copter and managed to get it off the ground. I had the front legs elevatored 100mm. I was able to hover and when i added some pitch control it flew as expected. It leveled off and flew well until i tried to turn and come back. That when it went out of control and crashed.
