Quadcopter hovering challenge

Consecutively, when i run flight test with my F450 quadcopter with flysky transmitter i observe that after take-off, it become’s challenging to hover with my drone or even land it smoothly, also it often seem like the drone is not immediately responding to the throne control and finally the last test went wrong yesterday when i was maintaining a centered throttle position and the drone went flew high up into the sky that I could no longer control it.(my guess is could it because of my slacked throttle stick?)
But i really do not know and i need help cause I don’t understand why It’s this way?
