I have a Heewing T1 Vtol that has Arduplane custom 4.62 with OSD panels with extended link stats data and a Holybro Kakute H7 fc. The airplane flys good in fw and quad. Most of my Q settings came from painless 360’s settings posted several years ago which have logging turned off. My issue is when I do a rtl. The airplane returns in fw and changes to vtol mode and then just hovers over the landing site but does not start the decent to land. I get an osd message that the decent to land has started but the decent doesn’t start. When I first started flying this airplane a couple weeks ago it did rtl and land a couple of times but lately it just hovers. Q_rtl_mode is set to 1. I have looked over my settings and see nothing wrong but I’m no expert. Any thought on this or do I need to turn on logging?
Problem solved, set Q_options back to default.
Might be a good idea to turn logging back on to default. That way if you run into issues you’ll have something to work with. Won’t cause you any problems so no reason to turn it off in my mind.
Excellent recommendation. I don’t know why Lee (painless360) had it turned off.
I can’t think of any reason to disable logging. Things happen and you want to know why after the event.
