I am just starting hands on with a X8 flying wing build project, to be used for photography.
Had the hardware in a box for some months. Now I suddenly realize there is a new hardware option - the performancewise superior PX4 + IO board.
Are there any specific reasons not to go for the PX4 hardware now, at this time?
… ease of use, stability, compatibility, whatever…?
(apart from already owning an APM 2.5 set )
@Snurre,
The PX4 will be the new APM of the future. It is somewhat faster than the Atmel 2560, but has a lot more EEPROM for program memory. If you can afford it, I would invest in the PX4 to future proof your investment.
