Program Futaba T8FG - Iris

Hello all…

I purchased a 3DR Iris a few months ago and have had trouble with the flysky transmitter. I’d like to use my Futaba T8FG with it but I cannot find the proper settings to program it for the Iris.

I’ve looked around other forums and tutorials but no dice… any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi vsgreat,

The Iris uses Pixhawk as autopilot, here is the documentation for the RC connection:

I didn’t phrase it right – I’m looking to add a new profile for the Iris on the TF8G transmitter and I am unsure what the software settings should be. Thanks

The profile must be in airplane mode and, if needed, you may need to reverse some channels to get the next behavior during the radio calibration:

Channel 1: low = roll left, high = roll right.
Channel 2: low = pitch forward, high=pitch back.
Channel 3: low = throttle down (off), high = throttle up.
Channel 4: low = yaw left, high = yaw right.

Channel 5 is for flight modes.

Channel 5 is the challenge. I haven’t found good settings for a recent T8J firmware. I am making progress in my own tough.

Check these 2 links they might help:

diydrones.com/profiles/blogs … itches-c-d

The second is mine, I would welcome comments from those that know Futabas well
