PPM encoder to Pixhawk connection

My ppm encoder has a 3 cable connector and 1 single cable connector. I know where the 3 cable connector goes to, but where do I plug the 1 single (grey) connector?

I’ve attach a picture…
Also currently I have to plug an external battery to my spectrum RX, is there a way to bypass this?

thx

@totibross,
Your PPM encoder does not appear to be the same as the on in the 3DR store. Did you buy it from 3DR? If not then you need to ask whomever sold it to you what the purpose of the grey wire connector is.

Also your receiver should be powered though the PPM encoder and does not require a separate power source http://plane.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-pixhawk-and-px4-compatible-rc-transmitter-and-receiver-systems/#3dr_ppm_encoder_and_3dr_telemetry_radio

Thanks for the reply… Yes you are correct, I bought this from ebay and does not look as the original ppm encoder from 3drobotics…

PS : I mistakenly put the topic as solved, how do I revert that?
