Powering through the turns

I noticed that the APM increases the throttle as it rolls into a turn at a waypoint. If I am doing an auto landing, even if the plane is too high above the vertical profile, it will still give a shot of throttle on the base to final turn. Is this by design to prevent stalls due to high wing loading? I find that I need to turn off Auto if I have a steep approach to force the throttle to 0%.

Thank you.

Reduce TECS_RLL2THR if the plane is gaining energy in banked turns.
