wanted to post here before going to git about it in case i missed something, but i think TECS_SYNAIRSPEED breaks or modifies RTL_Autoland functionality.
i’ve had this issue in real life and narrowed it down to tecs_synairspeed in the sims. This might just be that TECS controller breaks RTL Autoland, as tecs_Synairspeed is basically enabling the controller in this instance.
I set servo3_function to rcin3 to have some thrust for convenience but set all TECS params as usual. When TECS_Synairspeed is off & the vehicle is flying home on RTL, within acceptance radius the vehicle jumps to DO_LAND_START.
With TECS_Synairspeed on, it starts loitering above home, sometimes switching to auto, and sometimes not.
