Pixhawk and Lidar connection

I am currently using Pixhawk 2.4.8 in my Autonomous Ground Vehicle. Also, I am using Serial 4/5 port of pixhawk with Piksi multi for better navigation purposes. If I want to connect a Lidar sensor with the Pixhawk, which port should I use? Can I use any other port as a substitute of Serial 4/5 port?
