Pid roll slew rate

Hello Bill,

I absolutely want that pitch be more steady tracking the target better.

Tu ensure more steady pitch tracking when exterior perturbations, like wind.

So following analytic tune with the last pitch sweep, I tested by activating filt @ 6Hz and 1db attn. and putting FLTE and FLTT to zero.

followinng the graph this is more better than before:

So I test flight where I started from
Stab P 5
Rat P 0,27
Rate D 0,005
FF 0,05

and increased
to:
Stab P 7
Rat P 0,35
Rate D 0,0055
FF 0,08

I stopped @t :
SP 6,4
RP 0,32
RD 0,0053
FF 0,071

the flight was steady and I not see any vibrations appearing.

I remake flight test in automode on an hypodrome shape in front of wind
I set :
velxy P to 0,5, I to 0,25 and D to 0,1

result I much better so far due to the stronger pitch control.

In front of wind speed is more stable than in rear wind trajectory:

if I zoom on rear wind we can see the speed oscillations:


do you think I need to reduce more the P and I and rise D ?
