PID recommendation for 8inch FPV 1.8kg

Looking for baseline PID parameter recommendations for an 8-inch FPV drone. First hover test showed severe oscillations need guidance to dial it in and it’s hard to find.
Can’t do autotunes yet, to bad weather so I like to start indoors for first tune.

Thanks!

Use the baseline and method described/automated by the ArduPilot methodic configurator software.

Thanks! Did that successfully with my 5” but this 8” doesn’t want to listen

So you used the software and did a quick tune indoors after correctly configuring the ESC telemetry based notch filters?

yes, using Dshot and set up Bi-directional Bheli32.10 esc firmware.

Post the files generated by the configurator and a .bin log file.

Think you need to drop these to:
PSC_ACCZ_I,0.14
PSC_ACCZ_P,0.07

And then if there is still output oscillation drop the Rate Pitch/Roll P&I terms.

And the Notch filter BW is way too wide for multi-source. You disabled batch logging so no way to check it in this log.

Many thanks, That work out much better!

next problem, throttle controle is not stable. It looses power after 10sec of hovering indoors. Battery is full and warning parameters should be correct

what is happening when it goes down? batt volts ok? rc input stable? Rc out?

Seems there was a battery voltage measurement error.

Next problem, suddenly I have no roll, pitch yaw input at stabilize mode indoors.
When I switch to Acro, everything works fine. Cant find a conflict in the RC options.
Thx

You still have not posted any files. Are you following the instructions? Or are you doing trial and error?

Sorry about that, even hard to download log from the internal storage.
Take me 5 -6 or even more attempt to get a .Bin File downloaded.
Stops at 99% and jumps in to fentch in process.
Here is one BIN I managed to download. Ardu is already taking few years of my life I think
