Hello community!
I flashed the SpeedyBee F4V3 50 Stack controller with version 4.4.3.
I took a 3DR 433Mhz 500mW radio kit.
I connected the radio receiver to Serial 2 (RX to TX2, TX to RX2, 5 Volts and GND).
In the settings of Serial 2 controller indicated that:
SERIAL2_BAUD = 57 (57600)
SERIAL2_OPTIONS = 0
SERIAL2_PROTOCOL = 2
The transmitter was installed in the computer’s USB, the drivers were installed automatically in the Initial Setup | Optional Hardware | SiK Radio I see both the transmitter and the receiver through the transmitter, i.e. They are bandaged and the computer sees the radio.
I select the required port and click connect to the Ardupilot, but due to a timeout I get a connection error.
Please tell me, am I missing something? Or will this method not work for this firmware?
If so, what are the known methods for connecting Ardupilot and Controller via radio?
To check the connection, I tried the third-party BetaFlight application; it connects to the controller through this connection.
From this I conclude that I did not configure something correctly in Ardupilot.
I will be glad to any recommendations. Thank you
