[Part 2] T-Motor 60A Not Responding — Possible Power/Connection Issue (VTOL PA12CF Project with PM07)

Hi again everyone,

First of all — thank you so much for all the support in my previous post regarding my ESCs beeping. I’ve applied all of your suggestions: updated parameters, reassigned outputs, verified PWM ranges, and calibrated ESCs using Q_ESC_CAL. Unfortunately, the issue still persists — my T-Motor Flame 60A ESCs continue to beep once per second and do not initialize.

At this point, I’m starting to suspect a hardware or wiring issue, so I’d love a second opinion on the physical connections.

Here’s my configuration:

  • Flight Controller: Pixhawk 6C
  • Power Module: Holybro PM07
  • Battery: Tattu 6S 22000mAh Li-Ion
  • Horizontal Motor: AT4120 + ESC T-Motor FLAME 70A
  • Horizontal Propeller: T-Motor FF15x8
  • Vertical Motors: T-Motor MN501S
  • Vertical ESCs: T-Motor FLAME 60A 6–12S
  • Vertical Props: T-Motor P16x5.4

What I’ve tried:

  • Rechecked PWM signal wiring (M1–M4)
  • ESC calibration (Q_ESC_CAL = 1) successfully applied
  • ESCs receive power and ground directly from the PM07
  • External UBEC provides 7.2V to the servo rail
  • Ground lines between ESCs and Pixhawk confirmed

Questions:

  1. Does anyone have experience connecting the Flame 60A to PM07?
Are there known issues with these ESCs when used with this PDB?
  2. What is your opinion on using standard “banana” connectors (the 4mm type) between battery → PM07 and PM07 → ESC? Could resistance or loose fit affect ESC startup?
  3. Would it be beneficial to add capacitors (e.g. low ESR electrolytic) to the PM07 output lines to stabilize current spikes for the ESCs?

I’ll add detailed photos of my wiring and schematic shortly in this thread.

Just want to make sure I’m not missing something basic on the electrical side.

Thank you again for your patience and help — I’ll keep reporting progress here in case others run into the same thing.
