Parameter settings for preflight Calibration

In this google group post (https://groups.google.com/g/drones-discuss/c/4_8FEwxwFqQ/m/tjitOrOhe7sJ) @Andrew_Tridgell mentions parameters that can be set to determine what is included in preflight cal, but where do we find and set these parameters? many thanks!

That was 11 years ago. Consider it outdated.

IIRC we have 4 calibrations

  • IMU see moving vehicle start for way to disable
  • Airspeed, see Airspeed sensing documentation for disabling calibration on boot
  • Baro, setting home altitude, can’t be disabled
  • Compass alignment, shouldn’t be a problem unless taking off from large magnetic structure, I think it is mentioned in moving vehicle start, way smaller of an issue for planes.
