Dear all,
my issue is that the OSD is not working on my Trad Heli. Video is coming through but stays in low power mode after arming.
Matek 405 wmn with Walksnail VTX
UART5/Serial3
SERIAL3_PROTOCOL = 32 (I have also tested 42)
MSP_OPTIONS = 0
OSD_TYPE = 3
SERIAL3_BAUD = 115
TX and RX on VTX/FC are crossed and I tested on a different UART3=Serial2 without success.
I suspected that the MSP feature was missing from the firmware because it might not very common for Heli pilots to fly FPV.
Previously I have updated the firmware by pressing the big button “Copter V4.6.1 OFFICAL” with the Heli symbol in the SETUP tab, not knowing which features are actually included.
Therefore I’ve flashed /Copter/stable-4.6.1/MatekF405-TE-bdshot-heli manually.
In the feature list MSP seems to be enabled.
Nevertheless, it’s not working and I am running out of ideas. Could you please share your thoughts?
