Have come to learn that OSD is not receiving telemetry until the 3DR radio connects via Mission Planner.
Or maybe is better to say, ArduFlyer is not sending telemetry until the 3DR radio connects to MP.
Background, I did not build this copter. It was build for me and delivered almost RTF…
If I go to the field w/o laptop and MP, I get no telemetry on my OSD. If I have the Laptop and MP, the OSD will get telemetry as soon as I can connect MP via the 3DR radio…
Tx from OSD is NOT connected to the Rx pin on ArduFlyer. Tx from from 3DR radio is connected.
It seems to me that ArduFlyer is not sending tlmtry data until is sees something from the Tx of the 3DR radio…
Is this normal? If not, what might the problem be?
