Just did a first flight with a new design. I just wanted to post the log and param file for an extra pair of (expert) eyes on the initial result. Looking at RATE*OUT values and others. I’m using APD 40F3 with BdShot telemetry which is limited. I haven’t yet hooked up TEL to a serial port for more detailed telemetry.
Since firmware update 2.3.2 the APD 40F3 now works with BdShot telemetry. I just added the more detailed telemetry also via SERIAL4 with PROTOCOL = 16 and Options = 0 and it worked like a charm. There’s some outdated documentation and info in threads out there stating that BdShot telemetry only works on the 80F3 but this is now working since 2.3.2
I also didn’t need any hassle with SERIAL options. I used GPS2 (SERIAL4) with GPS2_TYPE = 0 and I’m using 3840 on both BDMASK and MASK for SERVO_BLH
