Hi there!
I am building a H-frame type octoplane. I inclined all motors inside by 3 degrees. But I think those 4 inner motors must be inclined outward because inward inclinations make the moments due to the thrust horizontal compornents are reverse direction to the motor counter torques. So I took off the 3 degree inclinations of the inner 4 motors and gave them no inclination because of space limitations. But this arrangement made another problem of two peak freaquencies in the FFT analysis. Could anyone teach me about the correct motor inclination for a H-frame type Octoplane?
Is it possible to get enough yaw control power without motor inclination? My plane’s weight is about 3Kg and it has 9.5 inch dia propellers.
If you can use ESC telemetry driven notch filter.
AFAIK a lot of multirotors don’t have motor twist.
0 for all copters, VTOLs and planes.
Thank you for your quick reply. I will test with no motor inclination.
