First Things first: since this is my first post to this forum i want to say hi! i always was fascinated by drones anyway i am pretty new to doing it myself so please excuse any dumb questions!
The Problem i have:
I have gem 1305 GPS Module connected to my FC (Speedybee F405 V3) therefor i used the serial port on the gps and soldered the wires (T6 on FC to RX on GPS and R6 on FC to TX on GPS) to my flight controller.
When i connect my drone via QGroundControl i am not getting displayed any GPS data. (Tried via USB and also via wifi connection)
I set up my GPS to a baud rate of 38400 and the SERIAL6_PROTOCOL = 5 (GPS) + SERIAL6_BAUD = 38400, GPS_TYPE is set to NMEA (also tried with AUTO) with both it is not working.
When trying to connect the GPS module to my Computer using serial to USB i can establish a connection using baud 38400 and i can see valid data from the Module.
I suppose the problem is somewhere in the data exchange between my FC and the GPS. But i can‘t get my head around where the issue comes from - has anyone had the same or a similar issue. Any input is highly welcomed.
