I set up my rover to begin tuning the on board controllers (I have calibrated all of the on board sensors) and I noticed that mission planner is giving me a warning of “No telemetry sent due to lack of flight ID”. I am using a SiK telemtry antenna and configured it as outlined on the website. As far as I can understand this issue is arising because I am not configuring the drone ID settings, however, since I built a rover I didn’t think that this would be a necessary step. I also do not have a transponder onboard the robot.
I was initially concerned that there wasn’t a radio connection between the antennas but I am able still able to control my rover from my laptop and adjust easily tested settings like the direction at which my wheels spin.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
