No servo response from transmitter

No servo response. MP shows transmitter connected. Can calibrate transmitter in MP. ESC at Channel 6 has 5V output to power servos.
IN “stabilized” flight the transmitter controls the servos on the ground or in my office. In GPS flight the servos do not move until the helicopter is in flight.
Is it possible that the controller is stuck in a "loiter/position hold or other auto flight condition???
