Have omnibus f4 pro and had RC in on uart 6 which worked in inav. Need uart 6 for gps which work and uart 1 telem as wiki. Plugged in to what wiki said was RC in but no green bars. Doesn’t mention any setting to change either
Show all your params settings and did You follow all instructions on your linked information page.
So also show your ppm / Sbus solder jumper setup
have soldered the ppm port and nothing on sbus as it say. Couldnt find any settings to change for the rc in to work
wired in ibus servos
omni.param (16.6 KB)
If you are using PPM, have you made sure your transmitter is also set to PPM? I had this exact issue. Although I switched to iBus
Use ibus someone said ppm should be soldered and sbus will work anyway
Yes I mean, iBus worked for me (actually both did). Just ensure you have the correct protocol set on the TX
Set SERIAL1_PROTOCOL,0 (not 23). With the jumper soldered it should accept Sbus on the PPM/SBUS pin.
Still doesnt work after those settings
As I understand, the green bars in RC config doesn’t work right?
Can you tell the configuration on the TX? And ensure you have connected the correct port on the receiver to the correct port on the FC
New to this is config of tx not the serial protocol setting. Wiring have worked in inav
Okay, if it worked in inav, then it’s probably a configuration issue in ArduPilot
Show again a detailed photo of your ppm/sbus selection pads of the FC. For me the above linked photo doesn’t show this detail.
Hope this video helps

This receiver has been a big mess for years.
I am not sure, I do not remember very well, but time ago I succeded on using flysky ia6b with arducopter, but with IBUS, not ppm/sbus legacy way.
There are issues with signal pin inversion, either hw or sw.

It certainly has generated a lot of posts with the same questions. You get what you pay for and these are as cheap as RC systems get.
The reciever is trash but I have had sucess with the i6x firmware on the i6 (assuming you have this radio)
It is directly compaitable and for me it solved the issues with sbus ibus as the i6 firmware has no sbus support (atleast not when I tried this).
(This only applies for sbus/ibus)
Maybe this helps.
I don’t know, but it worked without any issues for me with PPM and with iBUS. The same receiver was used by another team for a direct controlled (no FC) RC plane.
