In the process of building an Ardurover with a Speedybee F4 FC and ER8 RM receiver. Radio and receiver are binding ok but I’m not able to do a radio calibration in mission planner. Radio calibration window in MP is greyed out. It seems like receiver is not properly assigned. I used the UART Port on the ER8 receiver as serial 2.
Are you using a serial output of the receiver?- assigned in the WebUI or ExpressLRS lua script
Radio Master ER8 has 8 channels and an extra serial/UART Port. I’m using the serial port as serial 2 in my build. ELRS documenatation said to do few more steps to get the receiver to work under the RC_options which is equivalent to bitmask 15136.
Not sure what extra steps I have to take.

Do you have it wired TX → RX and RX → TX? If those are not cross-connected, nothing will work.
You will likely get up to 16 full channels (depending on menu selections) using a serial connection with this receiver (or any ExpressLRS receiver via serial output).

I used TBS nano with RC_Option = 0 and Radio Cal window in MP worked ok.
used TBS nano with RC_Option = 15136 and Radio Cal window in MP worked ok.
Went back to ELRS receiver ER6 and ER8 but same issue which is Radio cal window not working.
Used RM ER5 and changed 2 PWM Ch’s to TX and RX and still same issue.

What settings do you have for those RM receivers set up in the ELRS lua script? Can you post a screen shot of those settings just for some ideas?
I’m not 100% sure, but it looks to me like it’s still in PWM mode. The RM website said those serial ports are only for sensor inputs.
