I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature but i have recently updated from MP 1.3.81 to MP 1.3.83 running SITL for firmware Arduplane 4.5.5 due to some developmental reason i am required to only use 4.5.5. i have found that during some instances No ap_message for mavlink id (264) will appear but it does not appear when connected to 1.3.82 or 1.3.81. any help/comments/explanation will be well appchiated.

Update mission planner to latest beta and see if that helps.
Its an AP issue which is triggered by some bad behavior in MavProxy used by SITL.
When Mission Planner request Video info (new gimbal/camera interface in 1.3.83), mavproxy adds a Flight_information message request which triggers the display of “No AP_message” from the AP.
The message is suppressed in 4.6.3 and 4.7-dev.
You can use sitl without mavproxy using the --no-mavproxy parameter (it will listen on TCP/5760).
Or use a CubeOrangePlus with SITL on HW
Or just ignore the message

Thanks for your reply. It looks like best for me to use 1.3.82 that way i can utilize the new ADSB data appearance as i need this feature (that’s the reason for upgrading from 1.3.81). Thanks again
