New Pixhawk 6C throttle behavior

My newly arrived 6C with the latest quad firmware installed shows 3 distinct throttle responses – idle, mid speed (not quite hover!) and full throttle! No transmitter throttle curve has any effect.

can anyone give me a hint on what to do to fix this??

A copter wants to fly, the only meaningful test is the mission planner motor test.
When everything is configured put on the props and fly it.
