Multirotor Crashed Mid AIR while Tuning

Hello There!!

So here’s the the quad configuration:

12S battery system, T motor Flame 80A ESC, Vector Technics 8008 Motor. It was our second flight performing Tuning and All of a sudden the quad fell out of air while it observe and could see the 4th motor has failed, we’ve done some preliminary log analysis and understood things, I’am looking for some more guidance to understand the reason of the crash. Would be great if you guys help out and take a look into this @amilcarlucas @Yuri_Rage .Thanks in advance

Here’s the log file attached

Post the .zip file created from the AMC software, then I’ll take a look.

Is this really your hover throttle?

Finding the reason may be tough with no esc tele.

What size props are you using? what is the AUW?

Thrust loss on Motor 4, Motor 3 drops to stabilize and down it goes as you surmised. The craft is a bit underpowered/overweight. It’s not always clear from a log what caused a failure.

Your battery is faulty, so motor 3 is not producing any thrust.

Motor 3 stopped producing thrust because it was commanded to do so after thrust loss on the opposite arm Motor 4 to attempt stabilization. It has nothing to do with the battery. This RC output signature is as classic as it gets for this event.

I’d blame the Flame…

Down in Flames.

All 12S rigs running on Flame ESCs I’ve seen couldn’t go past Autotune because of desynchs. Alpha HVs work, after one buys the programming interface and writes the specific motor firmware.

Best ESC for 12S used to be the APD…
