mRo X2.1 / Pixhawk 2.4.6 should I upgrade?

Is it recommended to update older autopilots like the mRo X2.1 and Pixhawk 2.4.6 or should I stay with the 4.0.7 version which is working well for me?

I guess there will be features lost if I update because of the limited power of the older autopilots?

You only loose features if the boards have less than 2MiB flash space.
