Motor Configuration

Hello, I am configuring a Holybro X500 V2 with Pixhawk 6x firmware V4.6.2, Mission Planner version 1.3.83, and I am working on the following topic

https://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/connect-escs-and-motors.html

I have this QUAD X configuration. During the motor test (Test all in Sequence), the motors rotate in the correct direction: Motor 1 CCW, Motor 2 CCW, Motor 3 CW, Motor 4 CW. What is incorrect is the order of the motor test, which should be A - B - C - D, but for me it is A - B - D - C. When I test the motors individually, i.e., “Test Motor A” → Motor Number 1 CCW, “Test Motor G” → Motor Number 2 CW, “Test Motor E” → Motor Number 3 CCW, “Test Motor C” → Motor Number 4 CW, the motors respond in the correct order. What do I need to change in the configuration so that the “Test all in Sequence” is successful, or is it OK as it is?

Regards, Peter

Don’t know why you are pressing any buttons except A-D with a quad-x. If the order is right with those then move on.

Do you have the frame class and type parameters both at 1?

Thanks for your input, Dave. Problem solved. The Frame Class parameter was set to 4. Now the sequence of the sequential motor test is correct.

Regards, Peter

And you should only see A-D buttons on the Motor Test Screen as a result
Just to be sure see if you only have 4 motor assignments on the Servo Output screen. OctaQuad would have assigned 8 by default.

Exactly, on the test screen I only have buttons A to D left. On the servo output screen there are exactly 4 motors.
